I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese. On my first bite I could tell the bread was freshly baked. It had a crisp exterior and a fluffy warm center. The cheese pulled as I bit back. It was cheesy, rich and a little sweet. My dad and I came back the next day to get breakfast again. I had the veggie breakfast sandwich the second day. It was fresh and light. I couldn’t get enough of the delicious bread they use! Molly’s has my heart! I’ll be back every time I’m in Gibsons!

If you’re visiting Gibsons, a stop at Molly’s Reach is an absolute must! This iconic spot, famously known from The Beachcombers TV show, is so much more than just a tourist stop — it’s a cozy, welcoming restaurant with fantastic food, friendly service, and a laid-back atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm of the Sunshine Coast. We came in on a busy afternoon, and while the place was packed, the staff stayed upbeat and attentive. The wait was worth it! I ordered the fish and chips, and honestly, it might be one of the best I’ve had in BC — crispy batter, tender fish, and fries cooked to perfection. The seafood chowder was rich and comforting, loaded with fresh seafood. The view from the patio is beautiful too, overlooking the marina and mountains. Even with the bustle, it still felt relaxed and homey. Prices are reasonable considering the quality, portion sizes, and the fact you’re dining in a piece of Canadian TV history. Highly recommend popping by Molly’s Reach whether you’re a Beachcombers fan or just craving great seafood in Gibsons. Would definitely come back on my next visit to the Sunshine Coast!

Molly's Reach was a famous landmark, situated in the picturesque seaside town of Gibsons Landing on the Sunshine Coast. It was the exterior filming location for “The Beachcombers Cafe” in the classic CBC TV show The Beachcombers(1972–1990). The building is now a popular restaurant called “Molly’s Reach Restaurant”, serving seafood and local dishes while paying homage to the show. The restaurant is a great spot to enjoy waterfront views and a taste of Canadian TV history. Gibson’s Landing itself is a charming destination with art galleries, shops, and beautiful coastal scenery.

Food was good. Too much food for me I had to take some home. It's a self-serve type cafe. You place your order, take a number and sit at the table and they bring you your food. When you are finished with your food, you are asked to clear the table of your dishes to an area near the door.
